Our organisation is highly committed to the spreading of knowledge cocerning treatments, demanding legal amendments and providing information about important preventative measures.
We are actively involved with the Norwegian pollen forecast, measures to reduce use of diesel fuel and wood-burning stoves to reduce local pollution and achieve a better indoor environment in kindergarsens, schools and workplaces.
Our web pages help spread the information and knowledge, and achieve visitor counts that are normally reserved for commercial websites.
By increasing awareness among treatment facilities, the quality of what is offered to patients will improve. Health personnel receive training about diagnoses from specialists in the various medical fields through the scientific periodical Allergi i Praksis, which is published by NAAF and distributed to health care professionals in most of Scandinavia.
In addition, we offer a wide range of quality assured brochures (we have our own Medical Board) and other types of written og electronic communication material. Our publications are extensively used in Norwegian health facilities.
Our organisations advisors also visit kindergardens, schools and workplaces to raise awareness about asthma, allergies, hypersensitivity and indoor climate.
When we are out in the field, our focus is on information, challenges and useful, easily implemented adjustments.
